Dawnrunner just completed an intense week long shoot as the official film crew of the 2008 Game Developers Conference. GDC is the world's largest and most renowned event for professionals in the Game Industry. Camera highlights include exclusive footage and interviews from key companies and luminaries in the technology industry - Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony, HP and more. Filmed in HD, the shoot lineup included green screen interviews, the Game Developers Choice and Independent Games Festival Awards show, man-on-the-street interviews, start to finish session filming, expo floor booth highlights, and numerous parties. One of our new projects explores science and technology from a new perspective for Dawnrunner Productions - from the eyes of children. This 30 minute instructional video provided the how-to's of teaching fundamental math, science, and technology principles through an interactive, hands-on experience. The finished piece consisted of a compilation of live event coverage, extensive customized motion graphics, studio set filming and greenscreen instruction. The piece is expected to inform instructors and encourage museum attendance at startup Discovery Museums overseas. We look forward to seeing the already promising results.
